He studied at the Malaga Fine Art school from 1971 to 1976.
This Andalousian painter has been exhibiting around the world since 1971. Molero is awarded first prize at the Malaga paintings Winter Salon in 1975.
He also wins the first price at Certamen de Arte Joven Malagueno in 1982.
Molero is not a figure painter. His paintings are hyper realistic interior scenes, still lives where no human being can be seen. However man’s presence is suggested by details like an abandoned hat, or a left behind suitcase.
In Molero’s still-lives, glasses are still full, playing cards are still on the table; it seems that man has just left.
Is man hidden in these corridors, where a closed suitcase is waiting to be carried away.
Molero has a clear palette, and one feels the sun of southern Spain in his work. Molero is a contemporary artist and he is faithful to the common saying” ut pictura poesis”, painting should be poetry.
